| The company Alquibla Teatro with its online theater will be in charge of giving the starting gun to the different proposals that the Department of Cultures and Recovery of the Heritage will develop in the coming months | Next week the first of the selected projects will be released thanks to the 'Cultural Reactives' program through which the Murcia City Council will inject 700,000 euros into the cultural sector.The first of the nine existing lines in this plan that will begin to be developed is the performing arts 'Theaters and Auditoriums of Murcia'.In this way, Alquibla Teatro will premiere its online theater project with 'Amores que matan' on July 21 and 'Orgullecidas' on July 23.

Specifically, the City Council has allocated 52,251 euros to the call for performing arts in 'Theaters and Auditoriums of Murcia' - surpassing the initial proposal.This line includes original and innovative staging projects in the field of performing arts (theater, dance, circus, micro theater, performance, etc.), as well as musical projects adapted to stage spaces for exhibition in the theater and auditorium circuit of the municipality of Murcia that have been promoted by companies, freelancers, associations and educators.Specifically, 15 projects have been selected from the 179 presented, which include theater, dance, circus, performance, object theater, proposals on virtual platforms, music and theater in English.
The variety also exists in the public to whom these proposals are directed - these are initiatives aimed at both the family and adult public."The 'Cultural Reactives' program has been recognized in Europe as an example of good practice, to boost the cultural sector and respond to the difficulties that our artists are facing due to the health crisis," said Jesús Pacheco , who recalled that "the European Commission has chosen Murcia to lead the roadmap for culture in Europe until the 2030 horizon".
