| The support program for people and groups affected by COVID-19, promoted by Aguas de Murcia, guarantees the supply of drinking water and sewerage service to the most vulnerable | The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, chaired today the General Meeting and the Board of Directors of the Municipal Company Aguas y Saneamiento de Murcia SA, Emuasa, which was held electronically and in which the ratification of the social rate of the water, a 'flat rate' of 5 euros per month, which will continue to benefit more than 4,900 families, some 16,400 people.The program to support people and groups disadvantaged and especially affected by the COVID-19 crisis, thus guarantees the supply of drinking water and sewerage service to the most vulnerable.
For these people, the City Council also maintains the exemption from paying the garbage fee.
