| The Department, led by Belén López, carries out various improvement actions in this center, among which stands out the reform of toilets and repairs of paint, masonry, carpentry and plumbing | CEIP Carolina Codorníu de Churra is preparing for the start of the course with different set-up actions with the aim of opening its doors in September in perfect condition.The City Council, through the Department of Education and Infant Schools, directed by Belén López, continues with the improvement works in the schools of the municipality within the Plan of Works in Educational Centers.Specifically, the actions in this school focus on the reform of the toilets in the old children's pavilion and the patio, the repair of leaks in the roofs, specific repairs on the façade and painting work."From the Department we have works underway in twenty schools, which have all started, in order to provide students in the municipality with safe places that can guarantee the development of their activity with all the maximum guarantees," explains the mayor.Other works in the Carolina Codorníu center also stand out, such as the replacement of a section of a deteriorated sanitation network and punctual repairs of masonry, carpentry, locksmithing, plumbing and puncture.
The total price of the actions being carried out in this center amounts to 48,381 euros.These actions are framed within the Plan of Works in Educational Centers that the City Council carries out during the summer.
The works focus on the maintenance and improvement of the services and benefits of the educational centers, where there are also those promoted by the Municipal Boards, and the renovation of sports facilities.
