Constitución with Plaza Circular .

It has also been installed at the intersection of Avda.

Teniente Flomesta with Calle Ceballos, the latter in high demand. They already had this technology at the intersection of the Bank of Spain on Gran Vía, Avenida Jaime I, Avenida de la Constitución, two of the three intersections at Puerta Nueva, Gutiérrez Mellado, part of Primo de Rivera, Ronda de Levante ( except for the Plaza Circular), Juan Carlos I avenue (from Plaza Circular to the intersection with Abenarabi and the junctions with Senda de Granada and Calle Mayor de Espinardo), Plaza Juan XXIII, Ronda de Garay, Obispo Frutos, junction of the Reina Sofía Hospital , part of Primero de Mayo, and traffic lights on the river bridges on both sides (they are complete on the Hospital bridge, on the Malecón and in the Plaza de la Cruz Roja, and partially in La Fica). The pasblue system is an acoustic warning device with remote control or via a bluetooth connection that makes it possible to sound the pedestrian crossings regulated by traffic lights to guarantee the safety of blind and visually impaired people, also avoiding unnecessary sounds.

The user is automatically detected, with a range of 10 meters, without having to carry out any operation, and the system emits an orientation sound so that the blind person can locate the traffic light.During the help process, traffic lights emit various types of sound:- Acoustic Orientation Signal: it is emitted every time the user activates the remote control, or detects a Bluetooth device, and allows it to locate the exact location of the post that emits the sound.- Acoustic signal of activation registered: it is emitted once the system has been activated and waits for the green cycle to give way.- Acoustic Pass Signal: characteristic intermittent tone, which informs the user of the possibility of crossing.- Acoustic End of Step Signal: characteristic tone well differentiated from the pitch tone, which alerts the user of said situation.- Once the step cycle has finished, the system returns to its original resting situation, not emitting any type of acoustic signal until it is activated again. It should be remembered that last February, Councilors Rebeca Pérez and Paqui Pérez made a tour of various streets of Murcia, accompanied by the Associations of Users of Guide Dogs and Deafblind People, to see the operation of the steps and traffic lights and Check in situ in which areas pasblue devices do not exist and need to be implanted.
