In each locality it will be two days during July and August. In this way, the container will be found in Rincón de Beniscornia on July 13 and 27, in La Arboleja on July 14 and 28, in La Albatalía on July 15 and 29, in La Raya on 16 and 30 July, in Patiño on July 17 and 31, in Puente Tocinos on July 20 and August 3, in Llano de Brujas on July 21 and August 4, in Alquerías on July 22 and on 5 August, in Casillas on July 23 and August 6 and in Nonduermas on July 24 and August 7.Farmers may deposit their pruning remains between 15:00 and 21:00.

The initial phase of the project will be active during the months of July, August and September.

The dates and districts in which the container will be located in September will be announced later. The districts decide the location of the containerThe removal of the stored remains will be carried out every 15 days and the Municipal Board of each district will establish the ideal location point for the installation of the container in which the remains will be stored.

The material will be subsequently transferred for treatment to a composting plant. The execution of this project is an initiative of the Department of Sustainable Development and Huerta, directed by the mayor Antonio Navarro, who has stated in this regard that "in recent years we have been developing an environmental project from the Government Team that is committed to reducing polluting emissions into the atmosphere.

This plan is part of this line.

We want to preserve the garden from the fumes produced by burning and we are going to provide facilities and alternatives to farmers.

"The container in which the pruning remains will be housed will be an open box with the capacity to store 30 cubic meters.

It will have a ramp and a back door.Face-to-face care in each districtAn operator will be in charge of attending the installation in person during the time the service is active.

The worker will supervise the reception of the remains and will be in charge of their subsequent transfer to be treated. The main recipients of this pilot project are small farmers in the municipality of Murcia whose plots in the garden do not exceed 10 tahúllas de cabidad, which are the vast majority of those present in the districts. The company awarded the provision of this service has been Cespa Gestión de Residuos, belonging to Grupo Ferrovial Servicios.

The budget for this initiative is 18,150 euros.Preserve the garden and its landscapesThis environmental management of agricultural pruning is another measure by which the Murcia City Council is committed to preserving the orchard and its landscapes by valuing agricultural remains and preventing them from being burned. The intention of the Government Team is to provide alternatives to small farmers so that they do not bet on burning, which causes discomfort to the neighbors and is a detriment to the environment due to the fumes they emit and which pollute the atmosphere. This measure joins other measures taken previously, such as the agreement signed with the ASAJA association, which has allowed farmers who wish to do so to request the free shredding of their pruning remains on their agricultural plots.

The City Council has funded the acquisition of two crushers to take care of this task.
