| The training activities of the Professional Qualification Program will begin in September and end in June 2021 | The Governing Board has given the green light to the Professional Qualification for Youth 2020-2021 program for a total amount of 217,617 euros.This program, which seeks to improve the skills for job placement of young people in the municipality between 16 and 29 years old, and respond to the training needs they present, is intended for those who are enrolled in the Youth Guarantee file.By carrying out these training actions, they obtain Professional Certificates from the Catalog of professional Qualifications and, in addition, they acquire personal and professional competences, allowing their integration into society and enabling access to a qualified working life.The training activities of the Professional Qualification program will begin in September and end in June 2021.
Eight training itineraries will be developed, imparting Professional Certificates of levels 1 and 2, among those with the best prospects for job placement and those considered by the SEF for Youth Guarantee.Within this general profile, priority will be given to those young people who, due to their circumstances, are particularly vulnerable, such as minors and those with a low educational level who have left the educational system without obtaining a degree, which greatly hinders their integration into the labor market, placing them at risk of social exclusion; young immigrants, of gypsy population and with protection and guardianship and / or reform measures.The duration of the program is expected to be approximately 10 months, depending on each training itinerary, including professional non-work placements at work centers.Training actionsThe Professional Qualification program is made up of different professional itineraries in which young people are trained in Professional Certificates (levels 1 and 2).
Thus, in this edition, the training actions to be carried out are the following:Auxiliary Aesthetic Services (Level 1) / Aesthetic care of hands and feet (Level 2).Auxiliary services of Hairdressing (Level 1) / Hairdressing (Level 2).Domestic Plumbing and Heating-Air Conditioning Operations (Level 1).Auxiliary Maintenance Services in Sports Activities (Level 1).Auxiliary activities of Commerce and Warehouse (Level 1).Vehicle Painting (Level 2).Data and Document Recording and Processing Operations (Level 1).Auxiliary activities in nurseries, gardens and Garden centers (Level 1).Basic kitchen operations.Basic restaurant operationsThe training activities will take place in the Training Centers and Employment Initiatives of the Department of Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism directed by the mayor Pedro García Rex.
