| The Governing Board gives the go-ahead to the specifications to contract the maintenance service of the TETRA radio communications network | The Governing Board has approved the specifications to contract the maintenance service of the TETRA radio network of the Local Police.In this way, agents have a secure network for critical communications that is capable of establishing communications even without the need to have an operational antenna nearby, thus offering a fast, orderly and effective performance.The Department of Citizen Security and Economic Management continues to strengthen both the human and material resources of the Local Police.The City Council will allocate a maximum price of 215,120 euros for a period of one year, extendable for another.These Tetra stations allow high quality communications, with coverage throughout the municipality and with an exclusive channel to work.

This system is also already used by firefighters and Civil Protection volunteers from the municipality, which allows them to be intercommunicated and attend more effectively to every corner of the municipality.
