| The City Council will allocate 80,000 euros to this grant plan that will benefit 900 girls and boys | The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, today presented the Plan of Initiative and Youth Development of the City of Murcia (Plan INDI), a pioneering program that will allow young Murcians to access aid to obtain driving licenses and language certificates ."Our objective is to support young people to develop their full potential and conquer their future, through continuous training and the improvement of their abilities," said Rebeca Pérez, who added that "these two certifications are the most demanded by young Murcians who, through this program, will be able to achieve them in greater conditions of equality ".In many cases, both languages ??and driving licenses are essential requirements to enter the job market, so this aid program also has a focus on job placement, since "it contributes to improving the training of our young people to find a job".The City Council thus promotes the granting of financial aid to defray part of the expenses derived from obtaining any type of driving license and obtaining the language certificate.Driving licenseApplicants will have to be registered in the municipality of Murcia, and have been declared Fit by the Provincial Traffic Headquarters in the theoretical and practical tests, during the period between June 1, 2020 and May 31, 2021.This call subsidizes obtaining the following driving licenses: AM, A1, A2, A, B, B + E, C1, C1 + E, C, C + E, D1, D1 + E, D, and D + E .The maximum amount of aid will be 50,000 euros, which will be specified in contributions of 125 euros each up to a maximum of 400 beneficiaries.Language CertificateRegarding language certificates, this call covers part of the expenses derived from obtaining official accreditation and acquiring level of language proficiency B1 and B2 in the English, French and German languages, from June 1, 2020 until May 31, 2021.The maximum amount of aid will be 30,000 euros, which will be specified in contributions of 60 euros each up to a maximum of 500 beneficiaries.RequirementsTo be eligible for these grants, applicants must meet a series of requirements:- Be registered in the municipality of Murcia.- Age: Up to 35 years old, completed at the time of application.- Have obtained the Certification of one of the B1 or B2 language proficiency levels (English, French or German) during the period between June 1, 2020 and the date of submission of the application; or have been declared as Apt by the Provincial Traffic Headquarters in the theoretical and practical tests of any Class of Driving Permit, during the period between June 1, 2020 and the date of submission of the application.- Not have been a beneficiary / or of other scholarships or grants awarded for the same purpose.- Be the owner of a bank account.- Be current in the fulfillment of their tax obligations and vis-à-vis Social Security, as well as with the Municipal Treasury.- It will be an essential requirement for applicants under 18 years of age, that the application be authorized by their legal representative.Applications and documentation.The order for granting aid will be established according to the following criteria:For being enrolled in the National Youth Guarantee System: 3 points.For being a long-term job seeker: 3 points.For being a job seeker: 2 points.For large family: 2 points.For recognized disability equal to or greater than 33% of the applicant: 2 points.In the case of subsidies for obtaining language certificates, those who have participated in the Language Club of the Murcia City Council will also obtain 1 point.Grant applications will be submitted, preferably, through the Electronic Office of the Murcia City Council (Procedures-Youth) or at the Offices of the General Registry of the Murcia City Council located in Glorieta de España, Plaza de Europa and Avenida Abenarabi.The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after the publication of the summons in the BORM - which will take place next week - and will last until May 31, 2021.The following documentation will be attached to the application form:- National Identity Document of the applicant and his representative, if applicable.- Copia del Permiso de Conducir o copia auténtica de la Autorización Temporal para Conducir expedida por la Jefatura Provincial de Tráfico, indicando la fecha de la obtención/expedición; o certificación que acredite la adquisición de nivel de competencia lingüística B1 o B2, con indicación de su fecha de obtención/expedición.- Certificación de entidad bancaria indicando el código IBAN de la cuenta de titularidad del solicitante, en el que se hará, en su caso, el ingreso de la ayuda concedida.- Documentación acreditativa de los criterios de baremación que se aleguen, en su caso
