| To the tests, 45,810 assignments must be added through the platform | The University of Murcia ended the exam period of the second semester of the course on June 23, marked by evaluation through exams and virtual work, as a result of the suspension of face-to-face academic activity due to the COVID pandemic - 19 and as established in the alternative evaluation systems approved by the Governing Council in collaboration with the faculties.The analysis of the activity data through the virtual classroom indicates that, between May 25, when the call began, and June 23, 143,879 exams were carried out through the virtual classroom in the set of university degrees of Murcia.
To these exams must be added the 45,810 deliveries of evaluable tasks also carried out through the virtual classroom.The day with the highest volume of activity was June 1, when there were 12,731 exam deliveries and 3,403 homework deliveries.
All these figures are adjusted to the range of values ??of the initial forecast of activity made by the Vice-Rector's Office for Strategy and Digital University before the call.During the entire period, 1,114 requests for help or inquiries about the evaluation were registered from the staff of the UMU User Service Center (CAU).
Of all of them, 63% (724) corresponded to simple questions resolved immediately by operators; while the remaining 420 were elevated to the second level of care.
94.3% of all questions raised (1,079) were resolved the same day.The vice-chancellor's office for Strategy and Digital University has sent a communication with all the summary of these data to the university community and wants to express its gratitude to the teaching staff and students for their involvement in the proper conduct of this evaluation period; as well as the work of the ÁTICA service staff in order to carry out the entire process from a technical point of view in circumstances never experienced before at our university.
