Likewise, in Murcia Parque there will be training sessions for federated swimming teams from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm."It is a question of recreational spaces, of meeting point and of leisure for big and small, reason why its opening is realized attending to the maximum guarantees of protection, since the health of the citizens at the moment is our only priority", has explained the councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, during the presentation on the measures agreed for the campaign this summer.Likewise, Murcia Parque will have five aquatic lifeguards during public bathing hours and the rest of the district facilities will have two, in addition to the security service and the provision of semi-automatic defibrillators.The only pool that will not open its doors this summer will be that of Espinardo, as it will be undergoing construction for the installation of the new cover, which will allow residents and swimming clubs in the municipality to use the facility throughout the year.Capacity reduction and minimum distance of 1.5 metersIn accordance with the agreement of the Governing Council of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the City Council, through the Sports Service, has agreed to reopen eleven municipal summer swimming pools.Safety distance of 1.50 metersIt should be noted that the capacity limitations have been made based on the solarium surface of each of the facilities and the recommendations given by the Autonomous Community."In this way, according to the criteria that have been carried out to calculate the readjustment of the capacity, the total reduction of all the pools will be around 70%, which will mean a total occupation of over 30%.

Likewise, it will not be allowed to use the water sources.Minors may use muffs exclusively, as long as an adult is with the minor in the water.
Users with disabilities may also use auxiliary flotation elements on an exceptional basis, always at the discretion of the sports technicians and that they meet hygienic conditions, also prohibiting shared use.
The use of sleeves or any type of float is not allowed in the 50-meter pool at Murcia Parque.Tuning deviceThe Department of Sports and Health has carried out a plan to fine-tune the 11 summer swimming pools in the municipality with cleaning and disinfection tasks, as well as maintenance work aimed at putting all the facilities into operation.Among the tasks, the emptying of the vessels, removing the sludge, cleaning the ceramic cladding of walls and floors, disinfecting the interior of the vessels by brushing and applying disinfectant products stands out.The ceramic wall and floor cladding joint has also been renewed, as well as the crowning of the vessels.In all pools, an algicide treatment has been applied to the walls and floors and the vessels have been filled with tap water, and the walls and floors have been cleaned and disinfected using disinfectant products.It is worth highlighting the cleaning and disinfection of the different units, such as changing rooms, access control, a first-aid kit and toilets.
In addition, preventive treatments against legionellosis and pest control and other painting, masonry, plumbing and locksmith work have been carried out.
