Tomorrow begins the reopening of the more than 600 playgrounds scattered throughout the neighborhoods and districts of Murcia, which consist of more than 3,000 elements of play, "said the Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, who tomorrow will visit the garden of Santa Isabel on the occasion of its reopening and to present the results of the 'Oasis' project, adding that “we are being an example of collective responsibility.
We have shown this in the most difficult moments and we must continue like this ”.Specifically, 'Oasis' is a research project carried out in the Santa Isabel garden and which has involved the application of a novel pavement in this environment, rubber grinding impregnated with a photocatalytic agent (Id-Sun) , whose characteristics have reduced the pollution derived from gases such as nitrous oxide, from the combustion of motor vehicles, among other factors.The districts premiere children's play areasThe children's areas of different parks in Murcia, as well as those for calisthenics and geronto-gymnastics, have been renovated in recent months and open tomorrow for the first time to Murcian families, such as the Tomás y Valiente garden in Puente Tocinos, the Maestro Ibarra park in Patiño, the garden of El Señorío and the park of the hermitage of La Cruz de Sangonera la Verde, the garden of Avenida Constitución in Guadalupe and the children's park of Calle Julián Cámara in Llano de Brujas, among others.Special daily disinfection deviceOn the occasion of the reopening of the playgrounds and geronto-gymnastics and calisthenics areas, the City Council is going to deploy a special device for daily disinfection of all the gardens in the municipality, following the regulations approved this week by the Community.
In parallel, the Town Hall will launch informational messages on the different social media platforms, as well as videos to inform all residents about the indications.During the state of alarm, the municipal operators have carried out disinfection tasks, acting in the more than 3,000 children's games distributed in the more than 600 children's play areas and in cleaning the 759 geronto-gymnastic devices, distributed in the 165 bio-healthy areas of the municipality.Limited capacity and mandatory mask for over 6 yearsIn playgrounds, the use of a mask for children over 6 years of age –when the safety distance is not guaranteed–, and the capacity of these spaces will be limited.In this sense, the parks of 100 m2 will have a capacity of 20 people; the areas of 200 square meters have a capacity of 40 people; in the 300 square meters it will be 50 people and in the parks with a dimension of 500 square meters the capacity will be 70 people.
In all, the minimum safety distance to be kept will be 1.5 meters.Likewise, it is recommended to sanitize hands before and after the use of each game element.
Their shared use is only allowed between children who have a family bond.
Furthermore, children must always be under the supervision of an adult.Individual use of gymnastic apparatusTomorrow they will also reopen the gymnastics, geronto-gymnastics and biohealth facilities, in which the use of each element will always be individual, using a mask when the safety distance set at 1.5 meters is not guaranteed.
The City Council also recommends in these cases the sanitization of hands before and after the use of each appliance.Intensive cleaning of 12,000 banks spread throughout the municipalityThe City Council has also disinfected the streets, lampposts and urban furniture of the entire municipality - more than 12,000 banks scattered throughout the municipality - as well as the 51 canine recreation areas, both in play items for pets and furniture for these spaces.
