José Guillén.Puente Tocinos has a renovated and modern fountainThe residents of Puente Tocinos already have the renovation of the Juana Jugán fountain, which represents an improvement in the image of the district for the enjoyment of all the residents who live there and visit it.The Murcia City Council, through the concessionaire company STV, has brought this space of more than 178 square meters to life, which has 37 jets of water, with a diameter of 15 meters and a volume of about 55 cubic meters.In addition, LED lights have also been placed underwater, creating a meeting and gathering space for all the residents of the municipality.Improvements have also been made to waterproofing the glass, restoring the machine room and creating a perimeter wall that enhances its beauty while reducing the amount of dirt it can receive.This source is also devised and thought to save water and energy, for which it has a highly energy-efficient pumping system that allows a higher flow with less consumption, thus betting on savings as a way of working in all improvement works.

For this, the City Council has two teams that are treating the water and carrying out periodic chlorination.
