The head of the municipal government of the Cs-PP coalition in Employment, Tourism and Economic Promotion, Pedro García Rex, activates the Restart Plan with aid for the self-employed and SMEs and measures to promote employment and productivityMore than two million euros to reactivate the tourism sector and promote job creation and economic recovery.

That is the endowment of the so-called Restart Plan, which the Department of Employment, Tourism and Economic Promotion of the Government of Coalition Cs-PP of the Murcia City Council has already launched.

Its owner, the orange mayor Pedro García Rex, has explained the three main lines of this plan, “which are based on two extraordinary plans for economic reactivation and employment, as well as the constitution of an Employment and Economy Board to monitor and adjustment of the measures ”.

The total amount of aid, stimuli and subsidies exceeds 2.2 million euros, of which the majority (one million) “will be destined to the Restarting Activity Plan for the self-employed and SMEs, which adds to the 265 .000 euros that are already active to promote the hiring of these professionals ”, highlighted the liberal councilor.Tourism will be a key sector to support this recovery, at the same time that it has been "one of the ones that are bearing the most economic impact and, at the same time, one of the ones that will take the longest to recover".

Rex therefore considers it "a priority" that it have specific actions, for which an endowment of one million euros is expected to be developed in three major lines of action.

The first would be intended to subsidize investments in the redesign of both infrastructures and products and their marketing and promotion, and would have half a million euros: "In this line we want to develop and implement sustainable tourism projects and 'slow to urism' , as well as enhancing the experiential and linked to sports and nature, "says Councilman Rex.The Tourist Card would also be discounted and the promotion would be reoriented towards digital channels.Tourism companies would also have aid to obtain quality certificates and subsidies for the acquisition of material - from partitions to temperature measurement equipment - aimed at adapting to new safety and prevention standards.

Finally, the plan contemplates reinforcing the communication campaigns "focusing especially on the recovery of confidence in the destination".The municipal government of the Cs-PP coalition, with a government agreement for the entire legislature, is working for Murcians and achieving important achievements, proving to be a government that is focused on moving forward this health crisis and that is thinking only of improving the Murcian life ..
