| In addition to eliminating the visual impact of traditional containers, the noise caused by their unloading will be reduced and it will be offered more space for pedestrians | The Government Board has given the go-ahead to the award of the works that will allow the burial of the containers in the districts of Cabezo de Torres and Zeneta.In addition to improving the image of public roads, this measure will eliminate the visual impact of traditional containers, reduce discomfort with containers that are more comfortable to use and less noisy when unloading, and will offer more space for pedestrians.This action is part of the City Council's plan to improve infrastructure and the quality of public services in all neighborhoods and districts of the municipality.
In this way, a response is given to a demand from the residents of both districts to the City Council.Thus, the City Council intends to modernize the Plaza de Abastos de Cabezo de Torres with four underground containers of greater capacity of 4,000 liters each unit.In Zeneta, the containers around the senior center will be buried, creating 9 points of urban solid waste, glass, packaging and paper.The works will all be carried out within a month for an overall amount of more than 93,000 euros.These works will be carried out in three lots: those of Avenida Juan Carlos I number 23A, of Zeneta, will be carried out by Construcciones Sangonera, SA, in the amount of 45,284.42 euros; those of Avenida Juan Carlos I, 46 de Zeneta, will be carried out by Eurosoterrados, SL for 43,547.90 euros, and those of the Plaza de Abastos de Cabezo de Torres, in favor of Nueva Codimasa, SL, for 49,648.72 euros.
