It also highlights the private funds invested in transfer, owned and raised, as a result of the close relationship with the business world The Catholic University of Murcia has become a pole of attraction for students from other autonomous communities and other countries, enhancing its international orientation.
This is evidenced in the new report by the Knowledge and Development Foundation (CYD), which has drawn up a new ranking in which UCAM's commitment to the international university fabric is valued when it comes to teaching undergraduate and master degrees in English .
Thanks to this, close to 4,600 foreign students have participated in the teaching programs, which has been highly valued together with the internships abroad carried out by the students of this university.
Further,UCAM stands out again for its contribution to regional development with a high rate of publications and research funds that have directly affected the Region of Murcia. Also noteworthy is the raising of private funds by the University in the knowledge transfer section and the number of open access publications in the research section. The CYD Ranking, in which UCAM participates voluntarily, serves this institution to identify its strengths and define those points of improvement for constant evolution, both in general aspects of the institution and in more specific indicators of its degrees.
Teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation, contribution to regional development and job placement are the sections analyzed by the CYD Foundation. ADE, Criminology and Law In this edition of the ranking, three of the degrees taught by UCAM have been analyzed: degrees in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Criminology and Law.
At ADE, UCAM appears as one of the best universities in Spain in the job placement of its graduates, while also evaluating the ratio of students per teacher, as a result of the University's premise of establishing small groups.
This factor influences the low dropout rate for this grade. In the Degree in Criminology the low dropout rate of its students is also highlighted, while in Law the ratio of students per teacher and the number of practical credits that are taught, as a result of the external practices that are carried out thanks to the numerous collaboration agreements that UCAM assets have with different institutions and companies, among other aspects.
