| The Department of Urban Development launches a special device to operate in these infrastructures in which six teams work, two of them with a tank large capacity | The City Council, through the Department of Urban Development and Administration Modernization, headed by José Guillén, has implemented a special device for cleaning and disinfecting the supports of the lampposts located in some of the busiest locations in the municipality. These actions, in addition to those that were already being carried out, aim to guarantee the maximum safety of the residents. "These actions are aimed at guaranteeing the maximum safety of the residents of the entire municipality and ensuring that the public spaces, through which hundreds of people pass each day, are in the best conditions," said José Guillén. Specifically, disinfection of the supports is being carried out by spraying with sodium hypochlorite, diluted 0.5% in water, at a height of two meters.

It is a concentration that is characterized by having a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity and by being fast bactericidal, without leaving any type of toxic residue.The tasks are being carried out by a total of eight people, distributed in six work teams: two of them will have a 100-liter tank mounted on a van and the other four will have manual fumigation systems.

Operators are provided with raincoats, masks and gloves, following established safety protocols. These actions are being carried out in a total of 63 locations. Circular Plaza, Silk Garden, Huerto Manu Street Garden, La Opinion Square, Bendame Minor Garden, Viudez Garden, Pintor Pedro Flores Square, Floridablanca Garden, Artillery Barracks Garden, Federico Servet Square, Constitution Garden, Garden of the 3 Cups, Garden of Lovers, Teniente Flomesta Garden, Malecon Garden, Plaza Mayor, Avenida de los Pinos Garden, Fofó Garden, Camilo José Cela Garden, Abenarabi Garden, Calle Sauce Garden, Mari Trini Singer Garden, Garden of Fame, Calle Cronista Diego Rodríguez de Almela Garden, Paseo Ingeniero Sebastián Ferigan Garden, Alameda del Malecón Garden, Calle Fernando Catedrático Garden, Plaza del Rocío, Bohemia Square, Manos Unidas Garden, Salitre Garden, Plaza Santa Isabel, Paseo Alfonso X El Sabio, Plaza Romea, Avenida de la Constitución,Liberty Avenue, Gran Vía Salzillo, Glorieta de España, among others. They are also being carried out in neighborhoods and districts such as El Palmar, Sangonera La Verde, La Alberca, Puente Tocinos, Cabezo de Torres, El Esparragal, Beniaján, Espinardo, Santiago and Zaraiche, Aljucer, Guadalupe, Sangonera La Seca , El Puntal, Churra, Los Dolores, Patiño, Santiago El Mayor, Zarandona, Barrio del Progreso, Casillas, Santo Ángel, Monteagudo, Llano de Brujas, Torreagüera and San José de La Vega.

It is expected that in the next two weeks the entire municipality will be completed.
