| The area of ??Culture of left-wing formation calls for decentralizing cultural events to the districts and promoting the holding of events in the open air | People dedicated to culture (music, performing arts, design, literature, ...) have been as affected by the current crisis as in any other sector.
However, from public institutions, the response to their needs seems much more timid and their management slower.
The announcement of the activation plan through the "Cultural Reactives" project, a program initially endowed with a budget of € 700,000, is not enough to envision a future for these professionals.
The fact that 168 projects have been submitted to the Murcia Medieval and Three Cultures program indicates the seriousness of this sector and the need to solve its situation. From the Culture area of ??IU-Verdes Murcia, its spokesperson Manuela Écija proposes some lines of work to highlight the ability to adapt to the new health protection rules and at the same time promote economic activity for workers in the culture."We consider urgent the adaptation of the cultural activities foreseen in our municipal centers to the new norms of health and health protection, examining new criteria of capacity and physical separation, extension of sessions for stage shows and facilities in fertilizers to increase the public assistant to these acts ".IU-Verdes Murcia proposes to launch new outdoor spaces, where conditions are more favorable against the risk of contagion.
This measure would be facilitated if the actions cease to be located in the center of the city and open up to districts and outer neighborhoods.
Similarly, new rehearsal spaces can be set up for amateur groups in municipal centers scattered throughout the municipality."The attractive cultural activity for tourism should better protect the archaeological remains of our city and orchard.
The decision not to conserve the remains of the Arab house in Trapería seems to us to be the result of little interest in its promotion, considering them as something isolated." Thus, the head of Culture of IU-Verdes considers that the old town should be conceived as a whole, in which all the remains that can be maintained have a place and a projection, considering them as a group that can be visited, that explains different aspects of the history of Murcia and linked to visitor spaces or municipal museums.
"Placing plaques or symbolic pavement on the road to commemorate an invisible wall or ditch cannot suffice to make visitors attractive to our history."In support of hospitality establishments, they propose a special permit to promote musical or stage performances in bars, restaurants and pubs that can offer this service under conditions of respect for rest."We urge the City Council to launch a cultural budget for young people in the municipality that offers them a discount on activities related to culture for at least one year."They highlight the importance of decentralizing cultural events in the neighborhoods and districts of the municipality, avoiding centralization in the urban area.
They insist that the municipal boards must be the main organs when it comes to diversifying and expanding cultural spaces throughout the municipality.
"It would be advisable for their budgets for culture to influence the economic revival that the sector needs," in Manuela Écija's opinion."We are not in a time of experiments, nor of suspending everything, but of recomposing the cultural calendar and its contents, maintaining active cultural centers, gardens, open spaces, remaking a program and adapting its activity, and for this it is necessary that the games be transferred budgets that have not been able to execute others that can respond to alleviate the difficult situation they are going through ".
