| For the first time, the La Contraparada Visitor Center will continue to be open all year and the Majal Blanco Visitor Center extends its opening to June | The Department of Sustainable Development and Huerta, led by Antonio Navarro Corchón, continues this weekend with the plan to de-escalate in the municipality's natural spaces, with the reopening of the Visitor Centers of La Contraparada and the Majal Forest Park to the public White."These two centers are a fundamental part of the environmental sustainability project of the Murcia City Council, to spread the values ??of our natural heritage and of the garden, respect for the environment and the responsibility of all to preserve it for future generations of Murcia", Antonio Navarro has explained.The Center of the Contraparada is an innovative and avant-garde point of reference for the dissemination of the natural, cultural, landscape and historical legacy of the Huerta de Murcia and the Segura river, while that of the Majal Blanco allows to know, in an entertaining and interactive way, the ecological and cultural values ??of the Majal Blanco Municipal Park, one of the most visited and best preserved natural environments in the municipality included in the Carrascoy and El Valle Regional Park.After more than two months of confinement and to continue informing visitors about the natural and patrimonial values ??of these municipal enclaves, these facilities open their doors adapting to the safety regulations that have determined the current sanitary circumstances.In this way, the safety distance will have to be maintained, informants work with protective equipment, sanitation measures have been established, and the usual paper information elements have been replaced by other dissemination strategies.Visiting hours to both centers are Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9:30 a.m.

to 2:00 p.m.In addition, starting this Saturday, the Visitor Center of La Contraparada will remain open every weekend and holiday of the year, unless the health situation discourages it.In the case of the Majal Blanco Center, which usually closes for the summer season at the end of May, the department has decided for this year to extend its opening period for one more month to the entire month of June.In this way, the aim is to extend and improve the service provided to users at a time when citizens' needs for recreation in nature are greater than ever.In addition to the Visitor Centers, both La Contraparada and Majal Blanco have environmental information points that reopened last weekend.
