| During the state of alarm, the City Council has offered aid to third sector entities for a total amount of 750,000 euros | The City Council, through the Department of Social and Family Rights, continues to urgently grant subsidies to the different social entities of the municipality in order to face the social emergency situation caused by COVID-19.In this morning's session, the Governing Board approved a grant of 250,000 euros for the Red Cross to buy food and basic necessities.This subsidy is in addition to those previously granted to Cáritas Diocesana de Cartagena and the Food Bank, both also for an amount of 250,000 euros.In this way, as promised by the councilor for Social Rights Pilar Torres, the City Council directly subsidizes the social entities of the municipality in order to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus crisis with global aid of more than one million of euros.
Thus, the Department of Social Rights, through the associations, will be able to acquire basic products and food so that they reach the neediest families. function { ;(, , {});}
