| The scheduled programming for the alarm months can be carried out until June of next year | The Governing Board has agreed this morning to extend the deadline for carrying out subsidized activities to promote youth participation in the municipality of Murcia 2019/2020 and extracurricular activities in publicly-owned secondary schools in the municipality.With the declaration of the state of alarm, the execution of a large part of the subsidized and programmed activities was interrupted, as has been corroborated both with the organizing associations and with the educational centers themselves.Due to the social interest of carrying out these activities for the complementary and transversal training of young people, the deadlines for the execution of subsidized activities are extended until June 30, 2021, so that these activities that have been interrupted can be carried out when circumstances allow.It must be remembered that the Department of Sustainable Mobility and Youth awarded a grant of 110,000 euros to 27 secondary schools in the municipality for the implementation of extracurricular activities during the current academic year and 69,902 to 62 youth associations for the conduct of their annual programs of activities.
