| Project 13-17 intervened last year in 29 neighborhoods and districts, responding to the needs of 378 young people between 13 and 17 years old | The Governing Board has given the green light to the award of the service to carry out the socio-educational intervention project with adolescents at risk of social exclusion, between 13 and 17 years old, whose objective is to provide support to adolescents with whom they are carrying out an intervention process through the Municipal Social Services Centers.The company that will provide this service is Local Initiatives for 1,050,701 euros for a period of two years.In order to meet the needs of adolescents, the Municipal Service of Social Services started this project in June 2017 with the aim of generating specific contexts of reference for adolescents, from which to respond to their demands and needs and those of their families constituting a network of educational resources as a means of preventing situations of risk or exclusion in which they may be immersed.The actions will be carried out in the neighborhoods and districts determined by the Municipal Social Services Service to provide the adolescents targeted by the project with the resources that make it possible to compensate for their deficiencies and social and educational needs, enhancing their aspirations, affecting aspects of their daily life, that of his family, being the field of leisure and free time, as well as the training aspect, indispensable frameworks for detection and intervention in the problems that affect them.The winning company, with the guidelines of the Municipal Social Services Service, will adapt the project according to the characteristics of the neighborhoods and the profile and needs of the adolescents where the project is implemented, within the territorial demarcation of the three Social Services Centers.
: Murcia North Municipal Center, Murcia South Municipal Center and Murcia City Municipal Center.The objectives are the following:- Generate specific contexts of reference for adolescents that respond to their needs and demands as well as those of their families, specified in the framework of socio-educational action through a catalog of school, training-employment, socio-cultural and community resources, as a means of acting in those risky situations in which they may find themselves.- Design and carry out an adequate schedule of activities adapted to the interests and concerns of the people targeted by this project, with content of teamwork, positive interpersonal relationships, participation and leadership, as well as education in values ??(coexistence and tolerance , respect for the environment, cultural diversity, education for peace, solidarity, gender equality, health promotion).Project 13-17 intervened last year in 29 neighborhoods and districts, with 46 groups where 378 adolescents participated with leisure and free time activities, health education, values, new technologies, social and cultural participation.
