| The measures are aimed at teachers and administration staff - Face-to-face academic activity continues on hold | The Official Board of the University of Murcia (TOUM) has published the resolution establishing the procedure and the organizational measures for the gradual and progressive recovery of face-to-face activity in the provision of public services in the at the University of Murcia.The resolution, which has been agreed upon at the Negotiation Table with the representatives of the trade union sections of the University of Murcia and applies both to the staff employed by the University of Murcia (PDI and PAS) and, as far as it may affect them , to the workers of the contractor companies, is supported by a triple premise:Firstly, that while Royal Decree 463/2020 of March 14 is still in force, declaring the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19, the Continuous face-to-face educational activity on hold, being maintained through the distance mode and through the use of telematic tools.Second, that there is no restriction on the freedom of movement that prevents the duty to work and the right to work.

However, whenever possible, telework is the preferred way of working, both for PAS and PDI.And thirdly, that the face-to-face development of the tasks and functions of the PDI and the PAS must be done with the strictest guarantees for their safety and health and, therefore, it is subject to the application of the protocols and the monitoring of the recommendations referred to in the aforementioned resolution.
