| Students have various menus, one for summer and one for winter, prepared by the Municipal Health Service and prepared in their own kitchens centers | The Governing Board has today approved the specifications of particular administrative clauses and technical prescriptions for contracting the supply of food products for Municipal Infant Schools through two lots with a total budget of 617,335.39 euros (VAT included) and for a term of 3 years, extendable to two more.The municipality of Murcia has seven nursery schools (San Roque de Algezares, provisionally transferred to El Palmar; Beniaján, La Ermita in La Alberca, La Paz in Murcia, El Lugarico in El Palmar, Nuestra Señora de la Fuensanta in Santiago el Mayor and Our Lady of the Angels in Sangonera la Verde) serving a total of 556 students.Among its services is the dining room, where children are offered menus prepared by the Municipal Health Service and prepared in the kitchens of the nursery schools themselves with a staff of seven cooks.The menus are made for nest children, one and two years, and there is also a summer menu and a winter menu to adapt to the temperatures and seasonal products.
Thus, among the products requested from the companies to be presented, they have included zero kilometer and fair price products.Specifically, the service will be provided from Monday to Friday during the working days established by the Department of Nursery Schools.
