| The Governing Board awards the remodeling works of different streets that consist of the renovation of the pavement and the widening of sidewalks | The Governing Board has approved the award of the remodeling works of the surroundings of Plaza Santa Eulalia, which is part of the ADN Urbano project developed in this neighborhood.The works will affect Raimundo de los Reyes and San Antonio streets from the intersection with Rambla street to the beginning with Mariano Vergara street, as well as the intersection of Periodista Nicolás Ortega Pagán streets with Joaquín Costa street and Cánovas del Castillo street.These works aim to improve the state of the paving of these roads and widen the pavements, thereby improving the functionality and aesthetics of the pavement that will be more in line with the environment.To do this, the current pavement will be replaced by a continuous printed asphalt pavement with a cobblestone-like finish, which offers better mechanical characteristics, so that the maintenance costs of the road are significantly reduced.The sidewalks surrounding the plaza will be paved with granite, thus continuing the design of the Plaza de Santa Eulalia, while the rest of the sidewalks will be replaced with the same pavement as the current one.During the execution of the works, the necessary measures will be adopted to guarantee the correct transit of vehicles.The works, which will involve an investment of 186,228.57 euros, will be carried out by the mercantile company Edifesa Obras y Proyectos, within a period of 5 months.
