| Meeting of the Health Committee of the City of Murcia | The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, chaired this afternoon the Health Committee of the Murcia City Council, where he reported on the measures adopted during Phase 0 and the battery of actions to be carried out during Phase 1, which begins this Monday."We face Phase 1, which begins on Monday, with two priority objectives within the measures of a transversal nature, that is, those relating to the reinstatement of the different services of the City Council: the first, to provide maximum security conditions and health to the workers and, the second, maximum efficiency in the public service, for the full operation of the municipal services ”, informed the mayor,The mayor indicated that “during Phase 0 administrative efficiency has been maintained thanks to teleworking, whose implementation has had a very positive impact”.
In addition, he stressed that "the new measures included in the decree on Sunday, such as the supply of masks and hydrogel on public transport or the opening of the Municipal Archive have been implemented with all guarantees."At today's meeting, in addition to the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the municipality, the set of measures of Phase 1 were discussed: of a transversal nature (procedure with the organizational measures for reincorporation to the different services of the City Council) and of a sectoral nature of the different areas of Government.“After the more than 200 immediate and urgent decisions that the City Council had to adopt since the detection of the first coronavirus case, some of which prior to the declaration of the State of Alarm, we now face a global coordination strategy to retake the activity, at full capacity, of the municipal services facing the start of Phase 1, "said José Ballesta.The members of the Government team, the spokesmen of the opposition groups, the heads of the Public and Personal Health services, as well as the chief inspector of the local Police are part of the Committee.
