Our buses and trams are a safe and reliable means of mobility.
"For this, two mask distribution areas have been established at the train station and at the bus station, which are being carried out by Civil Protection volunteers.
They are joined by urban and intercity bus drivers and tram inspectors who deliver them to all users who need it.Safety distanceBoth in urban buses and in trams, occupancy has increased since today, going from 30% before to 50% today, although passengers must always keep the safety distance and the row after the seat occupied by the driver will always remain empty.Likewise, the entrance to the buses has to be done through the rear doors to avoid contact with the driver and to avoid queues and the first rows of buses and the intercalated seats have been blocked to maintain the safety distance. Both in urban buses and in the tram, a hydrogel dispenser module has been installed inside the mobile units. On the other hand, polycarbonate partitions are being placed in the driver's cabins of Transportes de Murcia buses, not being necessary in the tram since their driver travels in a single-person cabin. The use of masks and gloves for driver personnel is mandatory and interior signage has been placed with the obligations and health recommendations for users.
