| Starting today, urban, intercity and tram buses increase their occupancy to 50% | Civil Protection volunteers and drivers have started this morning the distribution of more than 24,000 masks to users of public transport in the municipality.The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, and the Councilor for Citizen Security and Economic Management, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, visited the Carmen station this morning to verify that this operation is proceeding normally.Thus, Civil Protection volunteers have delivered this material for compulsory use in public transport starting today at the train station and at the bus station, while the drivers of Transportes de Murcia and LAT interurban and tram inspectors have made the distribution on their respective means of transport.Both by bus and tram, occupancy has increased since today, going from 30% before to 50% today, although passengers must always keep the safety distance and the row after the seat occupied by the driver will always remain empty.On the other hand, Transportes de Murcia buses will have polycarbonate partitions in the driver's cabins.
