| Educators send them stories, songs and resources every day to work on psychomotor skills to continue learning routines from home | The City Council, through the Department of Education and Infant Schools, directed by Belén López, continues to offer resources and activities to school children, between 0 and 3 years old, in the seven centers of the municipality.Since the declaration of the state of alarm, teachers are in daily contact with families through email to provide them with materials to work from home and with the family.Thus, today, on the occasion of Mother's Day, educators have focused their activity on working with children this holiday, helping them to create an original gift for mom, such as a bracelet, necklace or story.“Our teachers are developing extraordinary work during this time, joining efforts so that all students continue their learning from home,” explains Belén López.Stories, songs, exercises to work on psychomotricity and the senses, as well as crafts and cooking activities are some of the resources that families receive every day from the tutors of the Murcia Children's Schools.
"They are very young children who need more monitoring in some of their learning, such as routines, potty training, or language.
It is important to continue at home with the contents that were working in the schools and to count on it with the collaboration of families ”, highlights the head of Education.The students also celebrated Book Day with storytelling, narrated by the teachers themselves through videos, poetry reading and riddles.The municipality of Murcia has seven nursery schools that serve a total of 556 students.
These children are cared for by 79 professionals, of whom 26 are teachers, 33 educators, 13 operators and 7 cooks.
