| The rector has reported on the launch of the solidarity campaign # NingunEstudianteAtrás to financially help students affected by the pandemic | The Governing Council of the University of Murcia has approved at its meeting today, Wednesday, April 29, the second contingency plans of the faculties, which detail the alternative evaluation systems as a consequence of the state of alarm caused by the COVID-19.

Once the second version of these contingency plans was approved, it has been announced that several vice-chancellors are starting now to prepare a third version intended, fundamentally, for planning the teaching activity of the first semester of the 2020-21 academic year, period in which will take into account the 'bimodal' teaching model, proposed by the Ministry of Universities. On the other hand, the Governing Council has approved the modification of the academic calendar for the next academic year.
This modification assumes that the teaching activity will begin on September 28 and not on September 7, as planned.
This change is motivated by the need to hold the EBAU extraordinary test in September, so the admission and enrollment schedules are also delayed.
