| The Department of Urban Development launches a special device to act in these infrastructures in which six teams will work, two of them with a tank large capacity | The City Council, through the Department of Urban Development and Administration Modernization, headed by José Guillén, has launched a special device for cleaning and disinfecting the supports of the lampposts located in some of the busiest locations in the municipality. "To the actions already carried out since the declaration of the state of alarm in the streets and squares, we have initiated a special device in these infrastructures in order to guarantee the maximum safety of users in public spaces in the return to normality", the councilor points out.The tasks will be carried out by a total of eight people, distributed in six work teams: two of them will have a 100-liter tank mounted on a van and the other four will have manual fumigation systems.
The operators are provided with raincoats, masks and gloves. Specifically, the supports will be disinfected by spraying with sodium hypochlorite, diluted 0.5% in water, at a height of two meters.
It is a concentration that is characterized by having a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity and by being fast bactericidal, without leaving any type of toxic residue.Disinfection of exterior lighting poles The special actions for cleaning and disinfecting the light poles begin today in various locations in the urban area and will be extended in the coming days to the rest of the districts.
