| The Governing Board approves the specifications to contract this service, which must offer at least 30 weekly activities | Around 30,000 young people participate each year in the 'Networks for free time' program and, therefore, the Governing Board has approved in its session today the specifications to contract the organization and management of this program of leisure activities weekend.This service is characterized by its educational, cultural, recreational, sports, solidarity and preventive aspects.The objectives of the program are to build a planned intervention, seeking the agreement and joint action of all available resources with criteria of intersectoral integration and participation of the youth, cultural and educational associative fabric, and to be continuous, systematic and sustained over time creating a structure and a working system thatcontinuously and gradually promote the acquisition by young people of good habits in the use of their free time.The proposed activities will permanently bear in mind the risk prevention objectives that young people may have such as youth violence, gender equality, sexually transmitted diseases, safe vehicle driving, sexual abuse, addictions ...This program will be carried out quarterly, with the necessary flexibility to coincide the beginnings and ends of these periods with the summer holidays, Easter and Christmas.
There will be a minimum of 30 weekly activities, which will take place from Thursday to Sunday, most of them being carried out on weekends.In front of each activity there will always be a responsible monitor and as many specialized instructors as required.The winning company will make a quarterly programming proposal, which will be submitted to the Youth Service of the Murcia City Council at least thirty days before the beginning of each quarter, for study, assessment and possible modification proposal, if applicable.Each quarterly schedule will explain the pedagogical purposes of each activity, its specific objectives and its integration into the general purpose of the program.The maximum price amounts to 297,000 euros for a period of two years
