They will be broadcast from the YouTube channel of the City Council and that of the RMBM and broadcast on social networks at different times, from tomorrow, April 23, until Sunday, April 26.Unesco approved in 1995 the celebration of World Book Day on April 23, coinciding with the date of the death of Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare.
Since then, this commemoration has served to promote reading, as well as to defend and protect the publishing industry and copyright.
"This year, we entered the homes of citizens, thanks to social networks and technology, with a complete and varied program in which we encourage Murcia to enjoy reading with a selection of different videos," says Mercedes Barnabas, who appreciates the effort and dedication of the Libraries staff "to make this day a little more special."
