| The Governing Board approves the specifications to contract this service | The Governing Board has approved in its session this morning the specifications to contract the cleaning and fencing service for municipal plots and plots, for a maximum price of 300,000 euros for a period of two years.The purpose of the municipal land cleaning and fencing contract is to fulfill the duties of conservation and maintenance of the municipally owned land, with the legally required security, health, accessibility and decoration conditions.In this way, the winning company will be responsible for the fencing of plots, of different types, and for the replacement and arrangement of fences in poor condition, the cleaning of plots and lots, with removal of vegetation, brush, garbage, debris and other elements that may exist, with removal of the same to an authorized landfill, and treatment with herbicide.Likewise, it is contemplated, as criteria that can be assessed by means of award criteria for the purposes of quality in the provision, to keep clean the lots on which it has acted during the execution of the contract.In this way, the plots cleaned since the contract entered into force must be kept in optimal conditions, especially in times close to summer, where a general review of the plots closest to inhabited areas is carried out.Likewise, the winning company is responsible for the removal of materials that could be found in the municipal lots and the custody of them until they are delivered to their owner, or destruction, if applicable.As a general rule, ordinary work will begin in a maximum of five days, urgent work in two days and very urgent work in one day.Thanks to this service, the City Council cleans nearly fifty municipal parcels every year.
