Citizen Service receives more than a thousand calls from parishes and districts throughout the municipality (15/04/2020)

followed by Puente Tocinos with 65;

and Torreagüera with 61 |

The Citizen Service Service of the Murcia City Council, dependent on the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government, led by Mercedes Bernabé, has received a total of 1,097 calls from districts and districts, from March 26 to April 14.

The following figures emerge from the total number of petitions: 400 belong to Social Services;

261 a statistic;

100 to tax management;

27 to foreigners;

30 to decentralization;

and 279 have been requests for other matters.

By districts, Beniaján stands out as the one that has most used this service with a total of 167 calls;

followed by Puente Tocinos with 65;

Torreagüera with 61;

Cabezo de Torres with 54;

La Alberca with 43;

and El Palmar with 39.

Likewise, by district, the La Paz neighborhood is the one that has most used the Citizen Attention phones to request information with a total of 37 calls;

followed by Saint Basil with 30.

That is why, from the beginning, we reorganized our service and established a protocol of action for the presidents of the municipal boards in order to work in a coordinated manner in order to offer the residents of the entire municipality the best service, "he highlights. Mercedes Bernabé.

The data also shows that the day with the most calls received was last Monday, April 13, and the least day was on March 26, when this device was launched in districts and districts.

A device coordinated with the municipal boards

The applicants have the mobile phone number of the person in charge of the municipal office, as well as that of the headquarters for any queries and information until the end of the state of alarm and the opening of the offices.

Likewise, the citizen service telephone numbers of districts and districts were also diverted to their mobile phones, in case the neighbors need any kind of help or carry out additional procedures from Monday to Friday, working hours from 9:00 to 14:00.

As mentioned, Citizen Service classifies the matters consulted in Social Services, statistics, tax management, immigration, decentralization and others.

Thus, it refers to issues of registration, aid, payment of taxes, procedures, incidents and telephone numbers for the citizen, among others.

Strengthening of telephone and telematic channels

In accordance with Royal Decree 463/2020 of March 14, 2020 of the Ministry of the Presidency that declares the state of alarm, a Citizen Attention device was established in which it eliminated the face-to-face service, reinforcing instead the telephone lines and telematics.

It should be remembered that citizens can use the following channels to carry out their procedures and queries: telephone through the numbers 010, 968 22 95 49 (from outside the municipality), 968 35 86 00 (switchboard) and 900 22 29 00 (procedures );

and telematic through the portal www.murcia.es/informacion and the addresses www.sede.murcia.es, administracionelectronica.gob.es and rec.redsara.es to submit applications and procedures.

This device is carried out in collaboration with the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, which José Guillén directs, through the Computing Service, as well as the telephone unit dependent on General Services.
