UCAM is implementing virtual strategies thus guaranteeing the training of all its students;
In this sense, via 'online' it will continue to teach all the students until the end of the course, will evaluate the external practices and will take the final exams as it has already done with the partial exams.
It is also planning the defense and evaluation of final degree and master's projects, as well as doctoral theses.
These measures, which were already working, have been adopted as final after the meeting of the University Coordination Committee- Covid19 (CCU-Covid19) formed by the universities of the Region of Murcia and the Ministry of Employment, Research and University that has determined that it will not be possible to resume face-to-face classes in the remainder of the course due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since the state of alarm decreed on March 16, UCAM has adapted all the teachings given, transferring more than 15,000 face-to-face students to the distance modality.
Josefina García, rector of UCAM, has stated that this "has been possible thanks to the capacity for initiative and institutional foresight in the development of contingency plans, the academic quality of the human team of our university and the effort and tenacity of the students".
