The lack of protection material and the difficulty in obtaining it have led several companies and citizens to focus their efforts on the development of masks and other necessary products, for professionals who continue to provide basic services.
Beltá & Frajumar, entity dedicated to the manufacture of furniture in Yecla, has made and donated a hundred masks to urban transport in Murcia
Deli, a citizen of Murcia, has also personally sewn cloth masks, which she wanted to donate to the drivers of "los coloraos", counting on one more protection measure to provide her service
Faced with the difficult situations that the Spanish population is experiencing due to COVID-19, the solidarity of citizens has not ceased for a moment.
Beyond the applause and the recognition to all the professionals, who are rendering vitally important services, there have been many people and entities who have wanted to do their bit to fight the coronavirus.
The lack of protection material and the difficulty in obtaining it have led several private companies and neighbors to focus their efforts on equipping the professionals who provide basic services with preventive measures.
An example of these expressions of solidarity has been carried out by the company Beltá & Frajumar, dedicated to the manufacture of designer furniture, in Yecla.
The entity has changed the objective of its effort, focusing on the elaboration of masks and other necessary products, which they donate to different public and private entities.
Transportes de Murcia, concessionaire entity of the urban public transport of the city, has received in a completely altruistic way, the donation of masks by Beltá & Frajumar.
Its neighbors from Yecla have wanted to recognize the work carried out by the professionals of the Murcia urban bus, who continue to provide this basic service.
The citizens of the capital have also wanted to demonstrate their solidarity with the drivers.
For her part, Deli, a neighbor from Murcia, has personally sewn numerous masks, which she has donated to "los coloraos", a transport company where her husband works as a city bus driver.
Thanks to these gestures of generosity, many services in the Region of Murcia, such as the urban bus, have additional protection material.
The professionals who are working, in this case, to guarantee that citizens can access their jobs or basic services out of necessity, have not wanted to stop thanking this important donation.
José Enrique Pérez, Murcia Transport Manager, stated: "The entire Murcia Transport team is deeply grateful for this great gesture of solidarity. The commitment shown by the Beltá & Frajumar team to society is worth admiring and applaud. Also citizens like Deli. Once again, Murcian society makes us feel proud to work, every day, to provide the best transport service to this great Region. "
