Different buildings and spaces in the city of Murcia will be lit in blue today to mark World Autism Day, which is commemorated on April 2.
Specifically, from 8:45 p.m., the Moneo building, the Almudí Palace, the Alfonso X promenade and Murcia Río will be illuminated as a sign of solidarity with the group of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (TEA) and their families.
The City Council, through the Department of Social and Family Rights and the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of Administration, thus joins the call of the Spanish Autism Confederation to participate in the worldwide initiative 'Light It Up Blue', which this year, in addition to promoting the lighting of buildings and monuments, invites citizens to do so also from home, on the terrace or on the balcony, with a flashlight or mobile.
