The City Council has unified all the municipal public information on the free line 010 to serve the most vulnerable, a measure that was agreed this morning by the Health Committee, held electronically and chaired by the Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta.
"We carried out this action to centralize all calls on a single telephone, from where all queries from Murcian families will be dealt with, the procedures they request and the steps taken by the volunteer service," said José Ballesta.
The 010's hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On the other hand, to contact this service from outside the municipality of Murcia, those interested should contact the phone 968 229 549.
Almost 6,000 procedures
Citizen Attention has carried out a total of 5,835 procedures since the declaration of the alarm status, of which 2,691 have been managed by telephone, 882 by telematic means - through the web www.murcia.es/web/portal/servicio-de -citizen-information, the TuMurcia application, etc.– and 2,262 by the electronic headquarters of Citizen Attention and through the ORVE (Virtual Electronic Registry).
Since the declaration of the alarm status, the City Council made these channels available to residents to continue attending to any queries or procedures.
Specifically, the telephone 010 can obtain information in the following languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, Arabic and Sign Language.
Social Services consultations, donations and volunteering
Companies that want to make donations of hygiene, food or cleaning products, as well as individuals who want to volunteer, should contact this phone.
Also, people who want to be beneficiaries of the telephone volunteer service during the days of confinement should contact 010, from where they will put them in contact with a volunteer.
In addition, those who, due to the current situation, require aid, reside in Murcia and are not regular users of the City Council's Social Services, must contact this telephone so that aid can be processed, if applicable.
