More than thirty table games - dominoes, parcheesi, chess, checkers and playing cards, among others - have been donated this week by the association that organizes the Murcia Juega event, aimed at the homeless, who are undergoing quarantine. in shelters.
"Solidarity and generosity are two characteristics that define Murcia, as the organizers of Murcia are demonstrating. Play with the voluntary donation of board games during these very difficult times we are experiencing," said the Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, who has congratulated and thanked this gesture of solidarity.
Specifically, Murcia plays is one of the events that were to be held in Murcia on March 14 and 15, which has been postponed to September, and organized by the City Council in collaboration with the association El Duende.
Likewise, the organization of Murcia Juega, which has carried out the delivery and collection of games in a controlled manner, following security protocols, will deliver various games to Cáritas, an entity that has also requested this management.
In addition, the Murcia organization Juega has contacted the company KIPA Import, which will donate Parcheesi, Dominoes and Bingos to Cáritas.
