The Department of Education and Nursery Schools, led by Belén López, has organized the #MurciaMiCiudadEnCasa program of activities so that schoolchildren from educational centers in the municipality continue to learn during this period of isolation.

"This is an adaptation of the educational offer of the Murcia City Council, # MurciaMiCiudadEnseña, at the moment we are living to support our children to continue working from home and remind them that they are not alone during this time", explains Belén López .

In this way, the Department, through the Educational Programs Service, makes educational resources and activities available to teachers, parents on the murciaeducadora.net website, through the Facebook and YouTube channel with which to contribute to learning of the smallest at home.

Thus, students can receive a Road Education class through the video "Learn to circulate with us", from the hand of the Local Police;

They can learn English with dynamic and fun material, make a virtual visit to the Prado Museum;

learn from Educaixa's educational talks;

watch movies with the family through the eFILM platform;

and work reading from the Reading Channel, among other activities.

In addition, through this same page, the gallery of photos of the different activities that have been carried out these months will be available to the entire Educational Community.

“Our intention is to publish links and resources every week that allow viewing exhibitions, workshops, theatrical performances and games.

In short, what seems to us of interest in educational and cultural matters so that the little ones, in addition to doing their tasks and duties, can satisfy their needs for entertainment and enjoyment, �says the mayor.

# MurciaMiCiudadEnseña is a program dedicated to carrying out activities for schoolchildren in the municipality of Murcia for Infant, Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate, offered within the Educational Programs area of ​​the Department of Education and Infant Schools.

It is developed thanks to a team of technicians who, throughout the school year, coordinate educational centers with the entities involved in their development so that all Murcia students can learn about the cultural and historical wealth of the municipality, its artistic and customs heritage, natural areas, its museum offer, cultural centers, etc.
