The Governing Board has approved the award of the execution works for the interior remodeling of the La Ñora Senior Center.
In this way, both the members of the Senior Center and the users of the La Ñora library will have renovated facilities thanks to the interior reform project of both buildings.
In the Senior Center, located on Calle Doctor Miguel Ballesta, its distribution will be modified both on the ground floor and on the first floor.
The intervention also envisages the creation of two accessible bathrooms on the ground floor as well as the necessary turning spaces for a person with reduced mobility.
In the library, located in the Plaza de la Constitución, a change of distribution is planned on the ground floor and one of its interior stairs is modified, creating two new premises in the lobby on the ground floor, an office and a room.
Likewise, the bathroom located on the ground floor in front of the elevator is expanded to meet the minimum measures of a bathroom accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Both buildings, whose constructed area is close to 1,500 square meters, are rectangular in shape and together form a cultural nucleus of the town, which also generates free spaces and children's play areas around it.
This project is part of the Extraordinary Plan for Investments in Pedanías, which is coordinated by the Pedanías Barrios Department, directed by Marco Antonio Fernández.
The award budget amounts to 135,883 euros and the term of execution of the works, to be developed by Constu-Archena, is 8 months
