Due to the shortage of protection means by health personnel, the community 'Coronavirus Makers of Murcia (CV19_FAB_MURCIA)' has launched a project focused on 3D printing of parts intended for the manufacture of protective material, for the who is in contact with the Murcian Health Service.
UCAM has joined this initiative through the Degree in Telecommunication Systems Engineering, so that some professors and students have already started to collaborate making visors.
The Office of the Vice President for Research appeals to all those students or workers at the university who have a 3D printer and who want to participate.
In turn, those collaborating companies that wish to support this initiative are also welcome.
The contact route to collaborate is on the web https://www.ucam.edu/noticias/la-ucam-llama-a-colaborar-con-la-impresion-3d-de-material-sanitario
