The Councilor for Citizen Security and Economic Management, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, has stated that "the Government Team has already moved ahead with the Social Support and Economic Activation Plan to the proposals that the municipal group VOX is making public today."
"We are already working on the basis of a new draft of the 2020 budget, very different from the one planned, which will prioritize the revival of the municipality's economy," said the mayor.
According to Martínez-Oliva, "in order for there to be a greater number of tax benefits for Murcia citizens, it is necessary to carry out legislative amendments to both the Local Tax Law and the General Tax Law."
The councilor reminded councilor Ortega that "the regulated parking service was abolished on the 16th."
Martínez-Oliva has indicated that in this first package of measures approved on the 20th, it includes granting special subdivisions for families, citizens and companies that prove unfavorable economic circumstances generated due to the declaration of the state of alarm;
grant automated installments of debts of less than 30,000 euros and grant a moratorium on the voluntary payment period of the Tax on Mechanical Traction Vehicles, which will last until June 5, 2020 ”.
Likewise, the Social Support and Economic Activation Plan includes granting a moratorium in the period of voluntary collection of the rate of terraces for bars and restaurants, the IBI, the rate of the stalls of the weekly markets and the rate of fords.
Finally, and in accordance with Royal Decree Law 8/2020, of March 17, the payment deadlines for the liquidations already notified and those notified during these days are extended, as well as the installments already granted.
