The world of sports, especially soccer, is becoming more professional through digital transformation processes.
Big Data and Artificial Intelligence are becoming increasingly important since the more data professionals in the sector have, the better results athletes can achieve.
In this context, the first Master in Artificial Intelligence Applied to Sport was born, endorsed by the Catholic University of Murcia, whose objective is to train professionals to lead this transformation.
In addition, it also has the collaboration of Besoccer, a leading company in the sector worldwide.
It should be noted that the Master is taught online and has a faculty consisting of experts in Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics in football.
Also, thanks to the collaboration of UCAM Sports Spanish University, students will have the possibility of requesting extracurricular internships and completing the Final Master's Projects for BeSoccer and MediaCoach of LaLiga, among other institutions.
In addition, students will be able to access more than twenty expert Master Classes, which will provide students with a global vision of their professional development.
David Sáez, director of ENIIT Business School, explains that "with this postgraduate training, multiple opportunities will be created and new profiles will appear within sports clubs and institutions: Sports Data Scientist and Artificial Sports Intelligence engineers, which will become professions on the rise within the sports world. "
