The nutritionist Marta Garaulet, and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia have been chosen this year by the Costa Cálida-Ciudad de Murcia Tunas Contest as Godmother and Grand Master.
The election of the Faculty of Medicine, cradle of the Tuna of Medicine, organizer of the Contest, coincides with the celebration of its 50th anniversary, during which time it has seen 2500 doctors leave its classrooms.
Madrina's position this year has been with Marta Garaulet, a nutritionist, a doctor in Pharmacy and a Master in Public Health from Harvard University.
In a few days the poster of this 33rd edition of the Contest will also be announced, which this year has been made by the painter Marcelino Menéndez, a Mexican based in Murcia for almost 40 years.
The charges will be officially delivered on April 13 at the Gala Opening Ceremony to be held at the Romea Theater in Murcia and the contest will take place on the nights of April 15 to 17 at the Pergola of the Garden of San Basilio.
