“It is essential to address this issue from the collaboration between both administrations.
We must work together to change the hiring system and take out any irregular practice of administrative procedures, â€he stressed.
In this way, the first deputy mayor and head of the municipal contracting service has held a working meeting with the general director of Commerce, Consumption and Handicrafts, Carolina Espinosa, and the head of the regional service of Defense of Competition, José María Franco, to address this issue and set a series of actions in this regard.

Thus, during the meeting, both the councilor Mario Gómez and the general director of Commerce, Consumption and Handicrafts and the head of the Regional Service of Defense of Competition, have talked about organizing a conference aimed at businessmen and other professionals in the sector, where they would address, among other matters, minor contracts, collusive practices and other relevant aspects related to the new contracting procedures adjusted to the Public Sector Contract Law;
and real cases detected by administrations would be exposed.
“It is essential to take joint actions to demand the attention of all the actors involved in the contracting processes and to be able to continue moving towards a new model of clean operation that guarantees the principles of publicity, objectivity, transparency and competitive concurrence,†said Mario Gómez .
