The work has been carried out in the urban section, from the Manterola footbridge to the Fica bridge, both in the bike lane and in the pedestrian crossing.
The lines for the bike lane and the pictograms for the pedestrian crossing have been marked, as well as the Murcia Río de Azul logo.
"We continue with the 'Murcia Río' project, an initiative that is transforming the urban environment of the river, giving it more life and making this space accessible and enjoyable for the neighbors," explains José Guillén.
The Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillen, together with the Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, has visited today the works of horizontal signage that have been carried out this week on the left bank of the River Safe, along 1,900 meters.
The work has been carried out in the urban section, in the areas of access to the mota -environment of the stairs and ramps- from the Manterola walkway to the La Fica bridge, both in the bike lane and in the pedestrian crossing.
The bike lane has been signposted following the criteria of the Murcia Bicivías, which consist of marking the lines in red and yielding and the pictograms of the bicycles in white.
The pedestrian promenade has been marked with different blank pictograms for pregnant women, canoeists, people with children and pets, as well as the Murcia Rio de Azul logo.

Just a week ago, the work of reconditioning the naturalized pavement on the left bank of the Segura River in its urban section, from the Iron Bridge to the Hospital Bridge, was completed.
This space began to be conditioned at the beginning of February after the small damages suffered by the passage of the Depression Isolated in High Levels (DANA) last September, in this specific area of ​​the route.
Murcia Río I: the performances one by one
The 'Murcia Río' social and environmental recovery project is made up of the Alameda del Malecón, Las Cuatro Piedras, the bike lane of the Mota del Río, the intelligent lighting of the channel installed throughout its urban section;
as well as the right and left banks of the river, the River Walk and the Visitor Center of La Contraparada.
