The technical work table, created at the regular meeting of the Special Commission on Strategies for Social Recovery, Integration and Citizen Participation, has agreed to initiate a participatory process for groups, neighborhood associations, pednales and vocals for the modification of the regulations of the Municipal Boards and of District.
The maximum date for delivery of contributions will end on April 6, a limit also set for political groups.
In addition, a list of neighborhood associations will be requested from the Municipal Registry of Citizen Entities to send them all the information.
Meet deadlines
The members of the technical working table have undertaken to address the proposals and contributions that arrive as quickly as possible in order to have the new regulations of the Municipal and District Boards ready by the end of 2020, the date established at the meeting of the Special Commission on Strategies for Social Recovery, Integration and Citizen Participation that chairs the mayor of the Elderly, Disability and Development Cooperation, Paqui Pérez.
Thus, the councilor has insisted on the need to "meet the deadlines set for the Municipal and District Boards to have their operation regulated as soon as possible."
Transparency and participation
Likewise, the members of the technical table may request detailed information on the files of the strategic and development plans and projects of Murcia, with special interest in those related to social recovery and integration, economic, commercial, innovation, employment promotion actions and participation.
It will be the president of the commission in charge of sending these requests to the councilor of the corresponding area, setting a period of 15 days the maximum period to respond.
In this regard, Councilwoman Paqui Pérez recalled that "the basic objective of this commission is to ensure the effective application of the principles of participation and transparency in municipal management."
Another issue addressed during the meeting has been the possible restructuring of the districts to adapt them to the real needs of the city.
