The University of Murcia organizes this Thursday, March 5, the conference 'Promoting equality in organizations: tools to move forward', by Mirian Izquierdo Barriuso, president of the WomanForward Foundation.
The talk will take place in the auditorium of the Faculty of Economics and Business, at 12.30 pm.
The presentation will focus on good corporate governance, gender diversity and the role of the Woman Forward Foundation to promote value creation in organizations, promoting female leadership through, mainly, research.
Mirian Izquierdo has been a member of law firms such as Baker-Mackenzie, Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and White-Case.
She has also been part of Marcelino Oreja's cabinet in the European commission and has been a personal advisor to the president of Paschal Quality on internationalization issues.
He is currently CEO of the strategy consultant 'Global Trading', from which he directed the project 'Xportplus' on the digital transformation of foreign trade;
a consortium of 13 companies from 8 member states, winner of a Horizon 2020. She is also president of the Woman Forward Foundation, member of the board of the Independent Foundation and the National Mentoring Association.
The conference is part of the Annual Orientation Plan of the degrees of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UMU.
