The Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, visited this morning Rincon de Seca where Aguas de Murcia has carried out works to modernize the supply network.
Thus, in the Nanos Lane of the district, decentralization work has been carried out on the drinking water supply counter and in the extension of the network.
This action is intended to provide drinking water service with individualized meter to the homes of the aforementioned area, also achieving improvements in the adjustment of flows and pressures.
The neighbors assume the cost of the work in collaboration with the Neighborhood Board, which takes advantage of the action to undertake an improvement of the asphalt of the lane, while Aguas de Murcia finances the investment for 12 months.
The investment amounted to 26,620 euros and includes the 500 m2 asphalt agglomerate.
The Action Plan involves the creation of 1,500 jobs
The action is part of the Plan of Actions of Aguas de Murcia 2015-2020, which is endowed with a total of 32 million euros, of which 70% of the works are executed or are in execution, which implies an investment of 21 million euros.
This Plan involves the creation of 1,500 direct jobs and includes a total of 63 projects.
62% of the actions correspond to sanitation improvement works and the remaining 38% goes to work in the supply network.
